“When my father died, I thought my dreams died too,” says this 7-year-old from Burma/Bangladesh. Without proper food or books, memorizing the Qur’an seemed impossible.

MD Kaiser's journey from despair to hope
After fleeing the conflict that took his father’s life, 9-year-old Kaiser and his mother barely survived. “We had no medicine, little food, and I couldn’t study,” he remembers.
